SCREAM INTO SUBMISSION. Basically, he can out-yell anyone, until whoever was arguing gets tired of arguing so much and just gives up. It doesn't really seem like a power at first, but it is a precursor to his actual powers.
Early on, the most noticeable thing is that his blood sometimes glows when he gets scared and his adrenaline flares (likely when he just got cut to start bleeding). When consumed, it has a sedative effect (takes him a while to figure this out). As it gets stronger, actually swallowing the blood becomes less necessary.
As he develops, he learns to channel the ability to build bonds between people to the point of being an actual power. At the beginning he mostly just uses SCREAM INTO SUBMISSION to get people to sort things out and work together, but it becomes an actual power as he realizes he can manipulate people's trust and, ironically, calm their hatred. He learns to do this without the aid of his blood.
Later on, he learns to create a blood bond, which ties people together so that they can share their strength and stats. However, giving one person strength weakens the person giving it.
Finally, later on in the story, when he spills a significant amount of blood his it can cause his enemies to cease attacking him. This is called the Martyr. He may die anyway if he's bleeding that much, but it can still be useful.
Also, he has been in army training for the past couple of years and therefore has some basic skills in combat. He is better at hand to hand, and out of personal interest trained specially with the sickle.
